Step onboard at Queenstown Station for a steam train experience. Stop at Lynchford Station to pan for gold and browse the Pioneer’s Room before heading deep into the rainforest. At Rinadeena Station enjoy chocolate tasting and photography opportunities. Experience the Abt rack and pinion and admire the rainforest surrounding you before returning to Queenstown Station.

Lynchford Express
Take a 20-minute train journey travelling through Queenstown to Lynchford Station. Explore Lynchford, once an outpost for gold fever, now an exclusive stop on the WCWR railway line. Enjoy gold panning and the Pioneer's Museum Room before returning to Queenstown onboard your heritage steam train.

Tues to Sat 27th Dec 2025 to 22nd Jan 2026Cryptic Falls Express
Step onboard at Regatta Point Station in Strahan and travel along Macquarie Harbour before following the King River inland into the West Coast rainforest. Pause near Cryptic Falls, where water and forest sit close to the line, before returning to Strahan with a different view on the journey back. Enjoy onboard commentary throughout the trip, with a local honey tasting included on return.
